A space for time lapse filmmakers to earn from their videos & audiences to discover & reward talent.

The Shard: A Timelapse Film by Paul Raftery and Dan Lowe

Since it has taken longer than we hoped to get our in-house featured offerings ready, to serve our goal of discovering and sharing amazing talent with you, we will begin to publish timelapse videos in what we call our TimeLapse Channel Curated Selection series. These are timelapse films we’ve spotted that we feel are of exceptional quality and creativity which we enjoyed and we hope you will too.

The Shard was shot and released in 2012 by Paul Raftery, an architectural photographer, and Dan Lowe, director. According to them, they collaborated to create a timelapse film showing the final weeks of construction of The Shard tower in London Bridge, the tallest skyscraper in the United Kingdom.

They worked from locations such as Greenwich Park to Hampstead Heath.

Music by George McLeod.
